Debbi gives back to many community organizations that provide programs for children and women in the El Paso region. She credits her mother, Frances Cardona, as the major role model in her life.

Debbi's family includes Bill and Elizabeth Hester, Fort Worth, Texas; Dylan and Marissa Hester, Austin, Texas; Vaughn Hester who graduated in 2008 with her Masters in Public Health from Harvard and now works for FORGE in Oakland, CA; and Perry Hester, a senior at The University of Texas at El Paso studying Political Science.

Debbi has been married for 33 years to Dean Hester, a prominent corporate and securities attorney in El Paso.
 

Community Involvement
